Step Description |
Expected Result |
Result |
Precondition |
System is off |

|
open the valves V1 and V1 |
open the valves V1 and V1 from the GUI |
the valve v1 anv d v2 are open and enable to let the nitrogene gas pass |
positive result |
WASH THE SYSTEM WITH NITROGENE |
Wash the system with Nitrogenen for few minutes BY TURNING ON THE VALVE on the nitrogene tank
|
-one can see that there is nitrogene exit from the gas outlets |
positive |
Switch on the system |
Turn off the nitrogene Turn on the systeme from the GUI
|
THE SYSTEM IS GENERATING hydrogene and oxygene |
we turned on the systeme but no hydrogene or oxygene generation |
Burn the hydrogene |
Turn on the transformator |
The Hidrogene is burning |
negative since no hydrogene generated |
Switch off the system. |
Switch off the system from thGUI Switch off the transformator
|
The system goes down. |
positive |
WASH THE SYSTEM WITH NITROGENE |
Wash the system with Nitrogenen for few minutes BY TURNING ON THE VALVE on the nitrogene tank
|
All the hydrogene existing in the pipe systeme exeit |
positive |
Postcondition |
systeme is off |
|
turning on the systeme through the GUI after nitrogene purging for more than 10 minutes
We watched everything through 2 cameras and found that nothing had happened.
This could be seen by the fact that no current was withdrawn from the power supply and that no bubbles formed in the 2 containers.
Analysis of the test results :
the reason why no hydrogene was generated is that the KOH concontration was not high enough .
the desired concentration is 5 to 7 molar = 280,528 g/L
We had entered far too little KOH, which left the contagtivity of the solution close to zero.
what we have to do :
Increase the concetratiom of the KOH .
